Looking for a gift for the foodie in your family? Brown’s Orchards and Farm Market in Springfield Township recently released an “Orchard to Table” cookbook, which celebrates the joy of eating delicious foods during their peak growing season,” according to a release.
And in December, the Browns — Stan, Nona, Dave and Mary — will sign copies at the market: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 1 and Dec. 8.
“Orchard to Table” ($19.95) is packed with 200 seasonal recipes submitted by employees, local farmers and family and friends of Brown’s Orchards and Farm Market.
Divided by seasons, it also offers tips on how to select and store a variety of fruits and vegetables. Recipes were photographed by Sarah Bothwell of Blue Couch Studios.
